Portrait Kitchens handmade in frame kitchen cabinetry was used, along with Caesarstone Quartz worktops, a Rangemaster cooker, Neff ovens and a Fisher & Paykel fridge-freezer.

The exposed brick wall, antique light fixtures and reclaimed dining table help link the new with the old, and give the kitchen extension a warm modern farmhouse feel. The large glass doors open up to eastern views across the nature reserve – perfect for an early morning coffee at sunrise.

The kitchen has been featured in a number of magazines including Country Homes, Women & Home, The Telegraph Magazine and The English Home.

The Reserve itself was the shoot location for the Hairy Bikers latest cookbook, and also recently featured in episode 2 of Extraordinary Escapes with Sandi Toksvig on Channel 4.
